Disable safe mode
Turn on safe mode
Uninstall third-party applications

Safe mode lets you switch the unit on third-party applications disabled. Then you can easily remove any applications that may be causing a conflict or software problems.

To enable safe mode and use it to troubleshoot applications, follow these steps:

Turn on safe mode

  1. Off.
  2. Press and hold to On.
  3. When "Samsung Galaxy S 6" appears on the display, release the key on.
  4. Immediately after releasing the Power key, hold the key Volume down .
  5. Keep holding down the Volume Down key until the phone finishes rebooting.
  6. Safe Mode appear in the lower left corner of the screen.
  7. Release the key Volume down when you see Safe Mode .

Uninstall third-party applications

  1. From any Home screen, tap the Applications .
  2. Click Settings .
  3. Go to "Computer" and then press Applications .
  4. Click Application Manager.
  5. Scroll to the right until the screen apps.
  6. Tap the desired application
  7. Click Uninstall.
  8. Click Uninstall again to confirm.

Disable safe mode

To turn off safe mode, follow these steps:

  1. Press and hold to On.
  2. Click Restart .
